Computer Cults:

Yes, a new cabal has risen. five new cults involving dark and evil powers... they are as follows:

1. The Follows of Macintosh:

The Followers of Macintosh started early, and tend to appeal to people who need to feel superior for no good reason.

Traits; Fanatical, relentless.
Strength: Charisma
Weaknesses: Membership dues are high
Motto: Think Different, or thou shall be slain!

2. "Gates" of Hell

A very dangerous cult following a demented and evil demigod. Employing massive reasources and power, he
exerts demonic will over his followers. The "Gates" of Hell cult currently has the most members, and will immediately
challenge a "Follower of Macintosh" on sight (or "on-site", depending).

Traits: Anything to win
Strength: Numbers
Weaknesses: Every man for himself...
Motto: We own you ALL!

3. Penguins of the Underworld

One of the most organized of cults, but it's follower base is small as well as scattered between the different beliefs of the Penguin... Dreams of world domination are deemed attainable,
but they're still a small fish in a big pond.

Traits; Logically... we're superior.
Strengths: Stable followers
Weaknesses: Small, scattered following. The "Gates" of Hell have been trying to wipe out this resistance for years.
Motto: World Domination through World Cooperation!

4. The Code of Unix

An old and powerful cult. The followers usually sneer at most of the others as using the bastard offspring of their power.
The Gates of Hell stand in awe of these people, the Followers of Macintosh have tried to return to the "One God" and The Penguins
of the Underworld have been deemed a splinter faction.

Traits: Arrogance in the face of the "enemy"
Strengths: Old, stable roots
Weaknesses: No tolerance for new ideas
Motto: "You use what... WAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

5. The Masters of DOS

An ancient sect, built back in the 80s. This cult will NOT tolerate new ideas, and does NOT forgive ANY mistakes.
The "Masters of DOS" has a VERY small following as most of it's members joined The "Gates of Hell". DOS users are
ridiculed for their antique beliefs, but they hold their head high as they can fix problems that the others can't even
begin to understand (with the excepting of the "Code of Unix".

Traits: Tend to see things in Black and White
Strengths: Able to get to the root of things quickly
Weaknesses: Does not adapt to change... they have been abandoned for support.
Motto: "You'll be back... You'll ALL be back!"

Heaven's O/S2 Warp

A demented cult that claimed a mighty rise... then scattered to the winds. The true believers formed a suicide pact, and carried it through to th end. Nobody misses them, they are dispised by it's former brotherhood, and by every other cult..

Traits: Unstable... annoying.
Strengths: ...
Weaknesses: Too many to get into... It did lead to their demise.
Motto: "Got Kool-aid? We're going to follow the comet!"

well i belong to the ever increasing "Gates" Of Hell. I hope to join the Penguins of the Underworld, and eventaully go back to The Masters Of DOS and relearn all i forgot.

I already belong to "The Gates of Hell", "Masters of Dos", and I have spent time with the "Followers of Macintosh".. I'm still trying to get the basic cabal down of "The Penguins of the Underworld". I'm hoping I'm not killed for my infidelity...

Feral: I'm not a real big user of Novell... I used to deal with it VERY rarely in my PC repair days... but it's not somethin' I was really into... Also Novell runs off DOS... so technically, it's not it's own O/S.

Ice: I would actually would rather have the sheepskin... mostly 'cause your head can be filled with how to develop a nuclear weapon... but unless you can put "I have a degree in building nuclear weapons... plus I have three meltdowns of experience on yer resume'... yer not gonna get hired...
