| Yep... here are some Swami Darksamurai's predictions for the trends of the future! 1. FILE SHARING: Okay... file sharing is one hard bug to step on for the lawmakers... but let's put it this way... is there ANY better way to get the knowledge and achievements of the world in one spot for access? Isn't that what everyone envisioned for the future? The RIAA is impeding progress... okay... yeah, we should be paying somethin' for this, but it's important that it IS available. Not just for music, but books, movies, etc as well... I predict someone will arise that will come up with a viable solution that everyone will be happy with (maybe not bouncing with glee... but y'know). 2. HARD DRIVES ARE GONNA KEEP GETTIN' BIGGER: okay, so this is like me saying "the sun is going to come up tomorrow", but It donned on me... I haven't turned my TV on in over a month... my stereo has layers of dust on it (as my PC has better speakers) and since I got a DVD player in my computer... I watch all my movies there too. Entertainment is SO much more convenient all in one spot! I predict that this trend will continue to the point where everything is hooked to your computer or part of it... 3. Bill Gate's Death breeds lawsuit... Microsoft sues Hell for annual income loss. 4. Blue Laser technology becomes the fad. Mini-disc makes a return with the new BL ability and dominates CD-Rs for music and car audio. Static Memory becomes cheap enough to become a very attractive alternative shortly there-after. 5. The commentary/ technical writer for Pimprig.com, Dave "Darksamurai" Hunter, becomes rich and famous with a new invention that becomes a "must have"... or he wins the lottery... either way. 6. Console games go out of style... all new games are available, and old games are available for Emulators. 7. Ultra-fast Broadband Internet Access becomes cheap. A second golden age of internet money-making is achieved. 8. All cars have computers built directly into them. As "alternative fuel sources" have become MUCH cheaper than gasoline, all cars pollute less, look cool, and have a full computer that acts like a PDA, roadmap, radar, and console phone... it also comes with optional devices to make it more fun. 9. Windows XPX7 is released... no-one cares as Linux has dominated the market with it's wide support of games and stable user interface. 10. Man builds flying saucers and roams the stars... they collect data and seek alien lifeforms to probe. When asked why we would want to use such impressive technologies to stick metal rods up the ass of strange creatures, President George Bush the XVII says that "Turnabout is fair play". | ||

In addition to #5, Anathema will be calling you up to ask if she can come live with you "for a little while" which will end up being the rest of her life. You will agree, and never comaplain. Hehe. Kidding. Nice post. ^_^ | |||||||||||||||||||||
