| Okay, so you're looking for the right case to mod, well here is a good guide to get you started! Mini/Micro Tower "I think I'll call him... Mini Me." -Dr. Evil The micro tower is great for those who need desk-space, don't plan on doing much upgrading, and think microscopic art is really cool. Mid-Tower "I never met a mod I didn't like" -NOT John Wayne The mid-tower is probably the most widely-used case. It offers expansion capabilities, offers some mod room, and will usually not take over your desk. Full Tower "Your helmet... it's so BIG!" -Spaceballs The full-tower is P-C's Playhouse (Although you won't find this host doing naughty things in a theatre). The Full tower allows for all kinds of mods, drives, RAID setups, and oh-so-much-more! FILE SERVER "And when you die, they can bury you in it!!!" -Ruthless People Okay, there are file servers... and then there are FILE SERVERS! Technically, a mid or full tower can be called a file server, but the actual deal is where it's a kind of half-assed mainframe case instead of a personal case. This is the kind of case a business will use 'cause most people don't have the room, need, or even cash (these suckers are expensive) to spend this much on a case. If you browse through Pimprig's gallery, you'll find a couple of these babies that someone modded the crap out of. They stand alone amongst the others, that's for sure! | ||

well let see yours noob.... well ds i have all of the above cases and i must say that the full tower / server cases are a lot to handel but you are right about the modding possibilities of them. mid towers are definately the most commonly used cases around, as for mini cases, i don't see to many floating aroud, but the ones i have seen that were modded looked really nice. i think that server cases and minis are under represented in the modding community. probably due to most peoples lack of vision and or fund$. i am currently working on a server tower and i can honestly say that the amount of room provided is incredible. i really have to use some thought as to where i am putting every thing and what i am going to use for mods to make it look clean and no too empty at the same time. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I like a full tower... mostly so I can look at a furniture salesman and say, "Look... no way in hell is my rig gonna fit in that so called "Computer Desk". (jk) Actually, I like my Antec SX1030... nothin' like space, airflow, and attractive to boot to get my vote. | ||
