| So who else got Halo 2 last night/this morning at 120 am? Even though I had to work this mornin and I got class later...we stilled played it till about 3am lol. A friend of mine was driving by one of the Gamestops last night coming home from class, and she said at about 8:30 there was like 10-15 nerds, I mean people, standing outside of the store lol. I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut on that one So moving on...joke time! ![]() You may not know that many non-living things have a gender. For example: 1) Ziploc Bags -- They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them. 2) Copiers -- They are Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed. 3) Tire -- Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated. 4) Hot Air Balloon -- Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it and, of course, there's the hot air component. 5) Sponges -- Female, because they're soft, squeezable and retain water. 6) Web Page -- Female, because it's always getting hit on. 7) Subway -- Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up. Hourglass -- Female, because over time, the weight can shift to the bottom. 9) Hammer -- Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around. 10) Remote Control -- Female. Ha! You thought it'd be Male. But consider this -- it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying. Alright guys, have a great day. After my test tonight, you know where you can catch me...in front of the Xbox with a six pack getting some dual weilding action with the SMG's, dreaming of getting my 15 page paper done, while tearing up some Covenant ![]() | ||

| Damn, thats crazy. About how many people were there getting the game? They actually never really let us "inside" other than to pick up the game. And they only let about 3 or 4 people in at a time. Other than that, everyone else had to wait outside lol. Good luck making it through the day man, I bet 6:30 am came quicker than you could imagine ![]() | ||

| Hahahahaha that goes to the top ten lists of top tens that are actually cool, Iron. ![]() I never understood why everyone was so eager for the book releases, it's best to get it when the time is good for you and to read it slowly, because you digest what you are reading better and you won't be craving more as soon. Hehe...also off topic, like the new avatar people? ![]() | ||

| lol whys that avatar look so familiar?? part of a splash screen from somewhere? hmmm Rob - Good deal man. I never had a chance to really get into the Harry Potter books, but I did watch the movies and I actually enjoyed them. I had some friends that said the books were twice as good? You agree? | ||

| Yes, the books are wonderfully marvelous! I guess it all depends on how well a person reads, too. Although it is a children's book, a person who reads these also needs to possess some visualization skills. I know that every time I read the first five books, a whole world of wonder and delight explodes in my mind's eye, drawing me in so deeply that sometimes I don't even hear the phone ring. It's an escape from reality that is always a welcome addition to my time spent unwinding from a hard day at work. So, if you have the ability to actually play out in your mind what you are reading, then I highly suggest this series. It'll make you feel young at heart again. Rob | ||
