| Direct Cool Hoe | A Caseless Case... So far I have the chiller for the CPU, the Vapo for the Grafx card. I have the motherboard picked out as well as my choice for the CPU I'm gonna run the 754pin offering from DFI, the LANPARTY UT nForce3 250GB I choose this platform because the O/C abilility. 300 FSB/HTT is not uncommon. I want as few as wires to pass through the mobo box and 2 SATA cables fit that bill. One 36gb RAPTOR and one serriell ll adaptor for the optical. My HDD and the optical drive, as well as the controls for the Phase-coolers will be located just under the top shelf. I will mount the PCPower&Cooling 510 to the rear of those so the ATX and Aux.cables can pass through a single grommet with the power for the grafx card. There will also be 3 wires for the CMOS should I have a failed O/C. There will be an aluminum face on this pannel to dress it up. This will give me a place to mount switches and LCD readouts for temps I will be able to seal this motherboard box by way of grommets on the wires and a dab of 3M5200 where nessasary. I have aquired a small regulator that was originally intended for oxygen use. This will provide the small flow of Nitrogen I will use to combat the condensation within the motherboard box.The nitrogen purge will replace the air in the box during those ungodly O/C attempts. The tank will be mounted to one of the legs of the cart, so the regulator will be in easy access. To top this caseless case off I am trying to find a very very low price display possibly a 15"LCD to mount to the rear of the mobo box. Just a little something to display the results that will have me jumping around acting like madman. Well there you have it, the case of the caseless case, ZENNZZO style P.S. if anybody sees this as a copycat or stolen idea...or thinkx my MSpaint skilz are lacking please refer complaints to www.zennzzosayseatsh!tand die.com... ![]() | |

| Wait, so why are you chilling the CPU but Vapo-ing the VGA? The whole point of the chiller was it cools everything... Also for obscene overclocks the PC Power and Cooling IS NOT the way to go, the OCZ PSU's can set their rails amazingly high. As evidence I point out that Macci, Fugger and Oppainter, some of the worlds BEST overclockers use the OCZ over the PC P&C; in all fairness the PowerCooling is for high end rigs with mild overclocks. For the mother of all overclocks you need obscene voltages and the PC PC doesnt offer that. I think the DFI locks all 4 sata ports but I'm not sure, make sure you lock em down though. The raptor will help for the BIG OC's though as the faster system boot will mean you get a few more prescious seconds. | ||

Chiller is because I can directDie cool the CPU...Untill ROKK and I can get a performance evaporator milled, and power it with a 3stage cascade. Chilled coolant and my DirectDie Block will be colder temps at the CPU. Vapoing the GPU cause I have it and tthe GPU runs at a lower temps than the CPU even though it's voltmodded. In all fairness I belive they use that PSU because of the 75.00 difference in cost rather than the steadyness or power of the adjustable rails. The PCP&C 510 turbo has adjustable rails, I own one and it run's the Vapo unit with amps to spare...not to mention It helped me hit 2.9ghz on regular water w/ an NF7-s/ 2500m/BH-5 set up. An overclock some phasechange guys are having a hard time hitting... There is also a BIOS available that allows for a 4.0vt Vdimm setting for the DFI, and my PCP&C more than has the head room needed to reach that... Not a problem Enko...all donations gladly accepted... ![]() actually all this rig will need is a CD-Rom to load XP Pro and a few Benchmarks. I plan on doing some serious O/Cing and Benching with this one... ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Your insane...but then I suppose they all said that when you directly water cooled an Athlon. I hope things go according to plan Zenn, and the best of dremeling good luck to you. I see the wheels on the boom as a saftey feature - if thngs are going to blow, then run it out of the house and down the hill - far out of the way incase a small mushroom cloud were to appear from the Phase Exchanger ![]() | ||

| Good fsking lord bro...you went further than even MY wildest dreams! I've always thought phasechange on CPU GPU and NB would be the shiznit, but DAMN...negative AMBIENT AIR TOO? Lord almighty...you may be looking at record breaking benchies bro! If you want me to pick up a cheap LCD here in CAN and ship it off to ya I'd be happy to...though I don't have any myself, I can get them on the cheap (less than $300CAD) Anyone want to donate to the 'Get ZENNZZO an LCD' fund? I'm hooking up a paypal account... | ||
