THE TALES OF DARKSAMURAI: VOLUME 2: Attack of the Drones

On a hot day in June, the Samurai returned to the front lines. The fatigue in his eyes was apparent as he'd spent the last six days in battle. It would never dim the fire of the Samurai's spirit however, so he squared his shoulders, and with a grim expression, went forth fullfill his duties.

Having been issued his tools of the trade, his transfer papers completed, he strode into battle with the knowledge that if he didn't perform his duties, he would be facing the firing squad.

The first battle arrived a few moments later. A gentleman with a processor who swore upon his honor that he had no clue how the pins on his processor had been bent...

The Samurai, a man of great wisdom realized the lie, drew his sword and quickly dispatched the fool. Damning his soul to the hell of a thousand liars.

With his sword drawn and bloodied, the Samurai felt alive and alert. He realized the enemy was decietful and no matter how tired, he would see through their trickery!

Whipping his blade quickly to the side, the blood trailed from the blade. The Samurai carefully wiped away the remainder and sheathed his Katana in an impressive spin.

REALITY BREAK:

Basically, guy brought his processor in saying "I don't know how the processor pins got bent, I just bought the chip".

We were asked to straighten the pins to allow our returns department to test it... but we needed his signature to allow the adjustment. As I'm looking the processor over, I notice something...

"Sir, I'd be surprised if this puppy isn't smoked. There's thermal grease in the pins, that stuff does carry current."

Right after that, he gets all pissed off, refuses to sign the release and storms out of the store...

Guess who probably knew how those pins got bent...

FANTASY CONTINUES:

Leaving the bloody corpse at his feet, the Samurai sprang to the next battle. This demon was more tricky. A gentleman who wished to argue the terms of battle. He had been promised favors that weren't being met in his mind.

Turning over such matters over to his Daimyo (lord), he listened carefully to the conditions of battle. Basically, the enemy had purchased certain rights, and although they did not extend to the battle at hand, he felt that it bought him safe passages through the lands of the Samurai.

He was mistaken. With a nod, the Daimyo authorized his dispatch and the Samurai drew his blade and began to stalk his prey. The enemy cowered and fled, shrieking curses at the sky and swearing revenge. He would return, there was no doubt... but the day belonged to the Samurai...

REALITY BREAK:

Guy thought his warranty extended to viral activity and was rather passionate about being mistaken.

FANTASY CONTINUES:

Darkness settled over the land and it was time for the Samurai to withdraw and find sleep. Although capable of lasting for days, the rest was necessary to stay focused. The enemy was crafty, it was important to stay alert. He would return, the battlefield was always raging, he would be ready...

Sounds real similar to what I wish I could say to some customers...... of course I actually did go off on a customer about8-9 years ago but my boss actually backed me up on that one.....lucky me.
