While my wife and I did our weekly grocery shopping on Sunday (at a store in a fairly nice part of town, mind you), we saw something that made us look like this:

A woman going about her shopping wearing only a men's dress shirt.

That's right a dress shirt. Not a shirt dress. What's the difference? Well, on a regular old dress shirt, the front and back are longer. A shirt dress has the same length hem all the way around.

Granted, it was long enough to cover the bits... mostly. Where the waist came up, you could clearly see cheek when she turned.

Part of me wanted to follow her around, part of me wanted to go up to her and say: "Excuse me miss, I believe you forgot your pants at home."

Soooo... anything like this happen to you folks?

No, but I wish it would if only because I do the grocery shopping by myself.....

Come for a night out in Leeds, can see that round every corner (no munters either)

Still, if she was wearing undies and a bra, who gives a crap? She's covering enough for decent society (probably see more skin on any beach in the nation)... I've always thought it was hot to come home to my girl in just my work shirt; but if she wore it out, it would kind of kill it for me I have to admit. Sometimes a little intimacy can go a long way.

Of course, I would totally agree that dressing provocatively can be dangerous, but it is a staple of being a young person in the last what, fifty years? Hell, before I got my brain in proper order (back when the folks had a bit of money to throw around), I was always an early adopter for the latest fad. Being a kid is rough and being the only kid NOT on a fad can really single you out. I came to appreciate not giving a rat's ass later (due to my folks losing their high-paying jobs... a few hard lessons later I came to realize what was important) and eventually realized you catch a lot of crap regardless; but its hard to get a kid to see that. All I knew at the time was that if I wasn't where everyone else was, it was another way they could taunt me.

All in all I can say it looks like the gal wearing that out is trying a bit hard (to be noticed), but past that the shock factor is pretty low. If you said no underwear, that would be a very different story! A single gust of wind and "Marilyn" is going to probably be either experiencing a trip in a patrol car, or an exhibitionist's fantasy...

Add: I also will admit I'm assuming she's younger (as I tend to give older folks credit for not pulling crap like this). If she's older, it gives it kind of an odd twist!

As I was with the wife, I didn't dare get close enough to tell. Some things you just to try to do with a 8 month pregnant wife by your side. When she turned the corner to go to the next aisle, I saw significant amounts of cheek... but it's still possible she wasn't commmando. And BTW, if she "Marilyned" she would be a voyeur's fantasy (voyeur likes the watching, exhibitionists like the showing)

I kind of meant for her. I don't know if she was attractive, so I can't say it would be a voyeur's fantasy or not!
