Another Black Friday has come and gone, and you know what that means, shopping madness!

I'm sure there's a good chunk of you that went out on Black Friday or that weekend to start your holiday shopping, so let's hear the stories!

On my end, we went out to visit my wife's family Thanksgiving evening, so we did our Black Friday shopping out in Western Maryland. Unfortunately they didn't have a Best Buy or Circuit City anywhere in the area, so I had to find another store to plan my trips around. And our first stop was...Lowes!

This year I didn't need to buy any major electronics for the Holidays. We picked up a mini DVD Camcorder from Best Buy right before the Thanksgiving, so I needed to find something else to crave over on Black Friday (other than sleep). So both my wife's father and I found a Black and Decker Drill set at Lowes we wanted. I already have a Drill Set, but I am going to give it to my mother since she loves doing home projects and is hooked to that particular drill.

So we all went to Lowes at about 4:30 in the morning, and low and behold, we were the first ones there. Not at the store, but at the entrance gate that wasn't even open yet. No employees and no other shoppers, just us. It was the funniest moment. The store opened at 5am, and the first employee showed up at 4:50 to open the gates. So needless to say we got our drill sets. I'm sure we could have came back later in the day and there would have been more left. But luckily we didn't need any other major door busters so we didn't have a hard time deciding on where we would start. And after that, the madness continued as we treked through Wal-mart, Sears (where I picked up an awesome 40 some LED work light and Craftsman lock back knives), JC Penny's, and other stores where I really didn't need anything but the girls dragged me along to.

Black Friday's like a drug to some...one of these years I am going to stop though lol

Si what was everyone's wish list for Black Friday and what did you end up getting? What were your experiences? Did anyone else go to Lowes at 4:30 in the morning just to get a drill?!

I went out of town to look at a car ... other than that, I avoided the crowds as much as possible.

Never will understand the people up here who line up days in advance... freezing my arse off just for a sale isn't high on my to-do's.

Still waiting for the "I got frostbite on black friday, I'm hardcore" newspaper story, though. Still, oddly enough, hasn't happened... yet.

I went to Target and Best Buy around 11AM only because I went along with my family. I didn't buy anything but candy canes.

Value City had an midnight opening, it was packed all the way to the road, who woulda thought VALUE CITY would be packed.

Anyways, there was a fight, bloody noses, 3 police cars, an ambulance.... and I cut to the front

We stayed home except to go out after 10:00PM to buy a couple of groceries we needed (we tend to dine late).

We both tend to hate crowds... one of the reasons we tend to do most of our shopping after midnight.
