I understand you totally on the ADD gamer thing. It's the same thing that got me into trouble in school with math lol. I am a total out of the box thinker. So instead of moving up levels like in most linear games where there is a path. I try to look around take my time and make sure everything is safe before I proceed or check out things to see what they do. Sometimes I end up going the wrong direction. Talking about FPS games of course not racing.

LoL it takes one person a week to finish a game for me at least a month!

Hmm I guess that could be a new category...

Slow Gamer - One that takes longer than most to complete a game. No matter the difficulty level.

Sorry to post something off topic but I don't get excited over racing games, period. But Midnight Club LA hoo dam I'm all tingly with excitment. Check out the trail if you haven't Jess.

Its kinda funny with the ADD gamer seeing as I have ADHD.

DAMN ADHD! it's starting to affect everything in my life i will always wonder off while i'm trying to do something and then i forget what i was trying to do. That and it makes school a real pain. Gaming is about the only thing that can keep my attention. Just thought i would let out some steam : D

Just thought of another gamer type

Age Intolerent:
Someone who hates playing with minors. Weather its their lack of maturity or high pitch voice you just cant stand them.

I know I fit in this catagory my cut off is between 16 and 14 depending on the individual person.
So if I'm playing COD 3 online and your 9 playing in the same game i just so happen to be admining enjoy the kick. Besides it's past your bed time and your not sapose to be playing mature rated games.

I had the same problem as you about two years ago; it really hit me hard in my freshman year and I was incredibly lucky to pass. I begged my parents for meds constantly but they kept turning me down and told me to buckle up and get it done. And for the most part I have; it just take a ton of hard work and commitment but I feel pretty good pulling all A's & a B(Damn physics). I've even started going back and finishing games which is something I never used to do. The best thing to do is just make sure your mind is challenged and active; keep it up and make it habit and you'll beat the ADHD.

I'm a bit of everything. I went through hardcore FPS years and did nothing but CS 1.6, Enemy Territory, DOD 1.0, UT and it was the best time i've had with a PC, nothing but fun and I really, really do miss the good old days. I have met so many nice people who I could call friends through FPS.
I have just got over a big, bad WoW phase. I got fat and yeah, hermit is the word. I play somtimes and really I did nothing fun in WoW, i did raid content, cleared MC with our guild and stuff led by my best "online" friends and am now quite sick of it. I play a few hours a day somtimes. One good thing did come from it, I met my girlfriend in it

I'm getting my new rig setup then i'm going strictly oldschool, cs 1.6, dod, ut etc etc

I'm in the 'Plays with mouse' group... WoW spoiled me, now I hate games that require me to use the keyboard.
