This is round three in the PR World Championship Caption Competition ? if you haven?t been paying attention, instead of just a single weekly winner, points are awarded down to eighth place, and those points are carried forward into future rounds?

The prize will be pretty modest as it?s now 18 months since I had a proper income
If the eventual winner is in North America, the prize will be a choice of anything up to $15 from the PimpRig store, Homestarrunner or Thinkgeek.
If our champion is in Europe, the prize will be anything up to £10 from Firebox or Cybercandy.
I?ll cover the cost of postage (shipping) too.
Nearer the time, I?ll be asking some of PR?s graphically inclined members to draw up a fancy certificate for the winner too.

I?ve also settled on the duration of this championship: I?m going to stretch the F1 paradigm as far as possible and have 16 rounds. As Darksamurai & I will be alternating posts, the rounds will appear fortnightly, this means our eventual champion will be crowned some time around May 2004.
