| No better way to start the weekly funnies off other than with a flash-based 1st person shooter game! This is sorta like Counter Strike...but more simplified, and I don't think the targets shoot back. Still intense though! Camper-Strike! I quit when I ran out of ammo..haha | ||

| So it looks like this web page isn't in English...BUT I'm willing to bet a large amount of money (or at least this pile of pennies in front of me) that somewhere on this page is the word GUNDAM. Maybe it's just the half dozen pictures of this big gundam thing in someone's back yard. Check it out!! Who needs a guard dog when you have one of these things? | ||

| So sticking with this Asian theme we have going here, found this lil video clip of what seems to be a game show of some sort? Anyways, it's of a girl with a basket ball, and someone dressed up as her shadow immitating her. Pretty wild. Caution this has a direct pop up that is not for younger eyes!! Click here to view the clip I don't know, between this and the Gundam thing I don't know how much more I can handle... Last edited by Lokie; 26-October-03 at 04:43 PM. | ||

| A little boy is dressed as a pirate captin for Halloween. He knocks on the door of a house and a lady answers. She says "Well, well little boy, what are you supposed to be?" He says "I am a pirate captain". She says "Well--where are your buccaneers?" He says "Right here under my bucken hat." | ||

| Shark Tank: DIMM sum The standard amount of memory in PCs at this company is 256MB, reports a pilot fish working there. For most users, that's in the form of a pair of 128MB memory modules, or DIMMs. "But management had slightly newer machines, with a single 256MB DIMM," says fish. "Then management got the idea that they deserved a RAM upgrade, since that is the touted cure-all for everything under the sun." Never mind that the managers' PCs don't need the extra memory. Or that some power users really DO need more memory but can't get management approval for the purchases. "So what we did was push through a purchase order to buy a bunch of 512MB DIMMs, without saying where they were going to be used," fish says. "Management, of course, assumed that they would be getting the new DIMMs." Instead, when the new memory arrives, IT support staffers quietly install it in the PCs of power users -- two DIMMs each, bringing their machines up to a full gigabyte of memory. And the two memory modules that come out of each of those users' PCs? "We took the 128MB DIMMs to the managers' offices," says fish, "and showed them that their single DIMMs were being replaced by TWO DIMMs -- which made the managers very happy." Better still, it frees up a new batch of 256MB memory modules from the managers' machines, which means a few more power users' PCs can be upgraded. When all the DIMM switching is done, the managers are very pleased, fish says. "Their machines apparently ran so much better with a pair of 128MB DIMMs than with a single 256. "And they REALLY liked the way the IT staff -- apparently without spending any money -- got the power users to stop whining for more RAM." | ||
