Well gang... I just managed to finish my Environmental Sciences final, so I'm back to that wonderous place known as square one with new classes. Anyway... continuing on.


Okay, so if you haven't been to the movies lately, and you're planning to, here's a quickie review of what to expect!

Spiderman 3

This movie kicked some ass. Although not quite as cool as SM2, the alien costume was well represented, but don't expect a back story on it. It wasn't too badly casted, although as a fan of the old cartoon series, I was expecting a meat-head in the role of Eddie Brock. Still, the whole thing came together pretty well, and my girl and I went to see it twice. We're gonna get it when it comes out on DVD!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Movie Film for Theatres:

We went to go see this three times. If you can get past your initial WTF?!?, it's actually pretty cool, and laced with all kinds of stuff long-time fans can appreciate! If you've watched the series, look for all kinds of hidden stuff, it's chock-full o' goodness...

Plus... why the hell can't I get the Isane-O-Flex theme song out of my head?!?

Anyway... if you missed it in Theatres, you'll see it on DVD in August.

On that note... the Linoluem Knife song friggin' ROCKS!

PS: I wish "Face Omelete" had been on the soundtrack. It basically is a metal song with Master Shake belting out how he's gonna make an Omelete for Satan outta yo' face.

Shrek 3:

Both my girl and I went to this movie with the intention of being disappointed. We saw the commercials, heard the reviews and went anyway... and were kinda glad we did. It was a worthy entry to the Shrek series, although I'm not gonna say it had the charm of 1 and 2, it was still worth watching. Maybe it was because my expectations were low, but it wasn't too bad. Worth watching at least once in my opinion!

Nice run down man. Definitely agree with you on Spider-man 3. We also saw Shrek the third on opening weekend and just like you guys, we weren't disappointed. Definitely wasn't a waste of money like a lot of people were expecting...so it was worth it.

We are going to try and see Pirates this weekend. She hasn't seen the second one, so we may have to try and watch that first before I attempt to take her to see the third one. Either way, I can't wait!

shrek 3 .... been reading too many bad reviews ... gonna have to pass on that one ...

saving up some money for Transformers and Fantastic 4 ....

Just went to Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End today ... seems to be decent, shooting about par for the rest of 'em. Take that as you will, I gave up suggesting good or bad on movies and music to a broad audience. :p

I was a little disappointed in the third Pirates. It was still worth watching, but...

We saw KNocked Up over the weekend, hilarious! Definitely worth seeing or at least renting when it comes out on DVD. Funny thing was, there was an older couple, at least in their 60's, that was sitting a few rows in front of us. They were just rolling!

I reallly can't wait for the Bourne Ultimatum to be released. The whole Bourne series is incredible, and i expect the third to be just as awesome.

Also, Transformers looks like it'll be an entertaining movie, if just to watch things blow up and giant bipedal robots beat the crap out of each other and turn into chevys. Oh wait. Yea, that last part kinda sucks x.x

ya know, I haven't seen a single one of the bourne movies, but I do own the first two lol.

ack. they are incredible spy movies, in my opinion. Definitely watch so you can go see the third and not be totally confused!

Don't get me wrong dude... some aspects of it kinda sucked...

Still, the alien costume has always been one of my favorite parts of the Spider Man series... Maybe I was just happy they used it for the third installment
