Exclamation Famous last words we never heard ?

Just a short one today folks, I’ve been busy with “Project Chickenhead”, most notably I have fouled the paint up _again_, but this time it wasn’t my fault… I started on my second can of “Brilliant Metallic Copper” Plastikote, & it helpfully chucked out little chunks of dried up paint, which immediately stuck to the still tacky paint from the first can. Hopefully I can rescue it with some 2400 wet & dry before going on to the clearcoat… I’m really disappointed with this paint – previously I’ve used satin & gloss Plastikote on plastic / ABS bits & it’s been great. Oh well, on to today’s post…

We all know some famous last words, whether it’s Nelson’s “Kiss me, Hardy” (umm... least said about that the better really), Julius Caesar’s “Et tu, Brute?”, or James Dean’s “That guy’s got to stop... He’ll see us” (I’m not making that one up. Really).

But what of all he other people who _must_ have said something interesting with their dying breath, yet history has failed to record it?

Carrying on DarksamuraiÂ’s traditional format, I present a hypothetical (and possibly too close to the knuckle) top 10:

1 - “You’re a cheeky Chappaquidd ick, Ted!” - Mary Jo Kopechne
2 - “Mind that tree!!!!” – Marc Bolan
3 - “I wish I’d taken a laxative!” – Elvis Presley
4 - “That doesn’t look like France to me!” – Glenn Miller
5 - “Are you sure that thing’s not loaded?” – Brandon Lee
6 - “I’m sure another pie won’t make any difference!” – Barry White
7 - “Quit tickling the pilot, Valens!” – Buddy Holly
8 - “ Hold tight! I’m taking this baby _to the moon_!” – Yuri Gagarin
9 - “Oh _5#!T_!!!” – Saddam Hussain’s sons
10 - “Don’t worry, I know where the airfield is!” – Graham Hill
