Unhappy Down, and almost out

Greetings Cubicle Monkeys.

Well, things have gone from bad, to worse, to down right dire. I still haven't found a full time job, and even finding part time work has been nearly impossible. I'm now completely broke, in fact I'm in the hole.

I've got bills piling up and no income. I've even had to resort to selling off one of my guitars along with some equipment which is listed on craigslist.org. And of course since it's a dire need for me to get that stuff sold I'm getting no replies to the ad, which means very soon I'll probably have to take it all to a music store and get screwed on what it's all worth selling it back to them.

All of this, of course, means that the comic is yet again taking a back seat on my priorities list, which really pisses me off because I had everything ramping back up nicely before the world came crashing down around my ears.
I'm still working on the comic, but not nearly as much as I was so production has slowed to a death crawl. I'm in no way giving up on the comic and I will fight to keep it going right up to my last breath, but it's going to take time for me to get back on track.

With that said, pray for me and wish me luck on finding a job in the near future so I can continue to bring you the funny. Until then, there will be very few new posts or new comics. And if anyone is interested in the axe I've got for sale you can check out the listing at the following link:

Ibanez "V-Blade" Electric Guitar, Morely Vol-Wah, Roland Microcube Amp

Sorry to hear about your predicament, I've definitely been there. Wish I could help. Hope work comes your way soon!

Good luck 0v3rki11. I have been wondering why no comic has come out lately. That looks like a sweet deal on that guitar! I use to love to play guitar, but I straight up suck at guitar playing.

I would like to get back into butchering some classical guitar... Those electric axes, I will leave them alone. Trust me, I am not good with them. Lots of fun though! I have a 1987 vintage Guild Flyer laying around at my Folks house. Ahh I hope it is still there...

Will have to look into some acoustic guitars one day.

Good luck Bro! When one door shuts, another opens. That has been true for my life. I just wonder where I would be if I had waited for another door to open...

Positive thinking bro... Don't give up, keep your mind positive and you'll find the right thing...

Good luck bro!
Ps. Don't give up on the comic, even work harder on it now, keep your thoughts positive and I bet you, you'll see another door opens...

Well, the primary problem with finding a job as an IT Specialist right now is that allot of college grads just hit the job market and they're getting hired on for cheap.

it could take anywhere from another 3 - 6 months before a majority of them fLuck up enough to get fired, then the companies will go back to hiring people who know what the hell they are doing and have actual professional work experience.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against those who attend college and cert courses. It works for them, just not me. I've always learned more and gained more experience by teaching/learning on my own or through on the job experience.

As with anything else, it's all just a matter of time.

And I will be working on the next comic through the rest of this week. One delay was that I was waiting on some of my former co-workers to find a picture of one of our friends who passed away some years ago. The next comic is going to be dedicated to his memory.

Stay tooned
