Greetings Cubicle Monkeys.
It's been a rather rough week for me fighting with a stomach bug that's had me on the toilet for 3 days straight. I'm sure that's more than you wanted to know, but oh well. The next comic is in the works and should be up in the day or two. I want to thank each and every one of my fans out there for bringing the comic back to life online and for helping to spread the word to others about the comic to help it grow.
On that note, I want to take a moment to be VERY serious. This morning I read a VERY disturbing article online regarding the "warrantless wiretapping" bill. It seems that the bill has undergone meaningless cosmetic changes that both sides of congress are agreeing to. For those of you not familiar with the bill, it aims to give telecom companies immunity in the warrantless wiretapping of all US citizens. This means that if the government wiretaps you, that even if you had done nothing wrong or had done nothing to provoke being spied on, you will have NO POWER to file suit against the telecom company responsible for allowing the government access to your private data.
With that said, I urge everyone out there to visit the EFF website (
Stop The Spying) and contact your congress representative. Tell them to vote "NO", that is if you value your privacy as well as the rest of your God given rights. This is zero hour, and only the voice of the citizens will stop this bill in it's tracks and force not only the government, but also the telecom companies, to kill the bill the completely and protect our rights as US citizens.
