ProJect MY ARMOR!

This is my armor ive been working on it for about 3 weeks now, Ive just starting ripping her apart and painting her up! And well since im waiting on Dangerden.com to ship out some of the parts i needed i thought id share some pics and how its been going for me!

This is the Kameleon Armor!! Tell me what you think! Hardware will also be posted soon!

Here is the some of the hardware and water cooling going into the ARMOR!

RAM - 2 x1Gb kit of Gskill = I got a good kit it runs DDR500 @ 2.5-3-2-0
CPU - Opty 165 CCBWE-0551-WPMW
Hard Drives - Speed Team 2 36Gb Wd Raptors running Raid -0 and a wd 250Gb Sata 7200Rpm for backup stuff!
Video - XFX 7800GT with dangerden Maze4 gpu block
PSU - OCZ Modstream 520W

So far ive been running my opty at 2.8GHz and i hope when i re do everything and im still thinking about adding another rad on the bottom of the case! Im now hoping 2.9-3.0 Everyday use!

nice paint that was gonna be my second choice but i went for the chartreuse neon instead

are you gonna paint the tool clip as well maybe and oposing color

I didnt wanna paint the tabs because i wasnt to sure that it would stick! I got some more ideas in my head for this thing! LIke maybe some fans on the bottom or the case or on the top back side of the case door on the other side! And i really wanna get some wheels on the bottom so its easy to move because when full the case is somewhere around 60Lbs..

When you painted the inside of the case what did you use to clean the metal, to prep the surface to be painted.

I was also wondering how many coats did you use to get that cool looking effect.

I used this orange cleaner that takes off any dust,grease and anyhting nasty kinda takes the clearness away and ruffed it up a little bit! I'll let you know if it holds

The paint i used had a 3 step method so i primed it 2 thin coats and then painted it with 2 nice coats and then cleared it with 2 coats! Like i said will see if it holds up! I really hope it does!

Yeah i was thinking a diff color tho im not sure yet! But im pertty sure the carpet is staying unless i can find something beter! lol

don't mind the color, but you really have to do something about the rear 120mm fan hole. Clean it up.

theres going to be a rad on one side and a 120mm fan on the other you wont be able to see it what so ever! Thats why i didnt really worry about how nice the hole was!

Well after another day of work i finally got her back up to power! Fedex guy came nice and early so i had the day to work on her, Still needs some touch ups here and there but here is what she looks like!

That paint job is so freaking nice!
I like the fur, too and the fans on the crooked angle and well, everything youve done with the case.
The only thing I dont like about the Armor cases - so far - is the blow hole thing on top.

Looking really good, though.

Definitely no playing around with this build.Great hardware and all the goodies.The case work is excellent compared to all others.I do admire a builder with the abilities you must have into this build,Jo.

Let me be the first (I usually am) to say that that Chameleon/Duplicolor Mirage paint is getting old. It only comes in 1 color (well, a few colors if you account for the color changes). And it's been done to death.

Well you have your words! But i have never used it before and noone has used it on a armor case! If you can find one than i will shut my mouth.. But its not about the paint job its about the time and mods that went into making the case! I seen you tell people how it is on there pics but i would really like to see some of yours and some of your mods! Thanks for the comment I only took it in a good way

I like the case and it was really for me to see, I just thought i would share with some others! Thanks for stoping by...
