Well after lurking here for a few days I realized my nifty pre-mod case from Skyhawk Matrix wasn't gonna cut it anymore. So scrounged up a mid-tower case at the computer show in King of Prussia, PA this past weekend for $32 bucks and started scheming. Really liked the tribal theme that some others had done so I thought I'd take that idea to the extreme. Busted the case apart and drilled out the rivets for the top panel and here is what I have so far.



Still got some cleanup to do on some of the edges but it turned out pretty well. Got the designs layed out for the sides as well. Just gotta dremel 'em out. I'll post more pics as the pieces are done.

Outcast...Sorry mang. I know how tough it is to come out with an original idea. I will definitely be borrowing some ideas that I've seen on other peoples cases tho.....

As far as the rest, more tribal designs on the side panels and who knows from there.

Oh, I'm not pissed or anything... and now that I think about it... tribals wouldn't go well with wolves.

Perhaps I'll cut my server case (this current skyhawk) all tribalized...

Heh...only 4 this time. This one was pretty tough with all the small radius cuts.

I'm still not sure I like it though. Maybe after I clean it up and fine tune the edges. Looked great when the design was penciled in but the reverse looks off to me. Maybe I'm just tired....

rcurtis looking good. The designs are a bit crowded......too close together. But it looks sick, and u had the patience to do it...........I don't . Keep things on the edge, and be as original as u possibly can.

Death, Thanks for the response. Well the tribal flames just wouldn't have worked with them all spread out in my opinion. I guess I'm going for the tatooed case look as the inspiration for the designs came from tatoo's.

rcurtis if you want a tribal theme, try and make something similar with the top window. Not too many curbes, straight, sharp edges, if you know what I mean.

I am inpressed with the dremel work (if it was)

I'm not really into the whole "Tribal" scene, but that is tuely some outstanding work there.

Decided on a color scheme. Using Dupli color Metalcast Blue and Yellow anodized colors. Used the cutouts from the dremel work as sheetmetal appliques on either side in contrasting color. Gotta decide on how to fasten them. They are just laid on there at the moment. Also I drilled out the rivets for the case and painted the pieces in yellow. There it is in the background partially reassembled. Just imagine the cutouts backlit in a similar yellow light. Turning out fairly well so far.
