Well, for some odd reason, the gallery here won't allow me to upload this photo, so I'll just put it in here for now until I can get it up proper in the Gallery these are from a 4.1 megapixel olympus, so they should look better, but PS ripped them apart when I scaled the image size down.. Mods:
Case was originally a premod case, but I changed that

Sanded clear powder coat laquer off,
Used Antique blue crackle paint to give off a "scale" effect
Then Wet sanded in a Cross-hatch (X) pattern into the aluminum @ 35/145 degree angles, to leave a "ripping" pattern between the crackle paint and finished metal
Self Cut Window
Blue "Crawling Dragon" vinyl decal on inside of case with a UV reactive outline behind it, from a UV reactive marker
2 UV fans on window with custom made decals made to match the ones for the Rheobus I also made
Radiation fan grills
UV reactive IDE cables
Custom wire covering made all from Blue UV reactive "Spagetti Neon" (I dunno how I found this stuff, was on ebay 1 day, and I have never seen it again, nor can I find it anywhere on the web)
Blue Anodized thumbscrews for everything.
UV fan under the HD bay, UV fan on PSU.
Stealthed CD drive
Blue Tribal Vine Vinyl Decals on drive bay covers, Left Side, and inside and out side rears, mirrored on top of each other.
Custom made crackle paint decals on of 120mm Aluminum exhaust fan, with aluminum mesh filter.
First ever headphone rack I have ever seen in a mod.
Rheobus to control the fans with custom decals
Custom made feet made from drawer knobs to raise the case

1 switch controlling all the lighting in the case, which is nothing more than 5 UV LEDs, which make the case predominatly purple, with just the UV reactive decal, fans, cabling, jumpers glow Blue. And yes I can have my lights on at night without going blind, hahah

Front USB and light panel were premod, the panel displays time, and temperture details.

I spent probably 40 hours alone just thinking and researching what I wanted to do, and another 50 physically doing the work. I changed my mind alot on this case, originally I had a 300w Enermax PSU, I crackle painted, and put a clear cover on, and used blue, neon blue and white cable sleeving, which I was going to keep until I found the Spagetti Neon, which glows brighter than any of the other Uv reactive stuff in the case(this is the stuff that ravers and clubbers in europe wear I see alot) so I didn't want to waste the sleeving and would save that other psu for another mod, and got the raidmax. I also had a white UV and black light UV cold cathode, but they are too bright(white one) and don't give off enough UV light. These 5 leds give off more UV light than any 3 CC UV lights I've seen together. I also have a 12" x 6" x 2" Blue UV reactive dragon wall hanging for the other side, but I decided not to keep it on because it weighed another 2 lbs and this is a LAN case.

I dunno, theres prolly some other stuff but I forget I finished this about a month ago and finally got these pix ready now.

on scale 1 to 5 i would give it a 4

suggestions:

clean up wiring
rearange those leds, and make them on same angles
get rid of those ugly ass grills

is the case beige? good god, i hope not.

no its brushed silver the light is all messed up, everything(UV stuff) turns way too blue and the purple light looks blue in the photos. I also have no clue how to use this camera(first time i used it in these pix)

hey clown go LOOK man, those grills go with his whole theme hes got going on. it looks pretty pimp for the outside, inside needs a little work but on clowns scale i'll give it a 5 of 5

lol how dare u rip on the uber $3 radiation fan grills. They are gonna be replaced with either the blue ying yang or blue dragon ones at directron, u get a $10 voucher for posting a pic in their case mod contest. only got these cuz they matched the premod window that used to be there


I dont see whats wrong with the inside, theres only the atx psu cable with blue sleeving, the HSF cable and 1 line to bring the molex connectors to the HDs, the end thats dangling there is to plug in the fans on the side.

I dunno most of u guys want to hide the cables, I actually prefer them to be seen more, They are all parts of the PC, why try to hide them. Just as long as they are out of the way of the airflow.

I'm down with the weird angles of the LED lights

I like the case. I can see you put alot of effort into it, which goes very well with me.

As clown said, I would like to see some pics without all of the crap around. And learning how to use that cammera to the best of its ability would be very nice.

I like the idea of the headphone hanger thing, but in my opinion, I would say put it somewhere else. Or even make it a foldout hanger from the side or front maybe. The headphones hanging like that would get on my nerves eventually.

The grills really dont go with the computer, so I would recommend changing those ASAP. And some metal bay covers for the PCI and AGP areas could finish that off nicely. (I'm not totally sure your missing any, it just seems that way from the pics)

I hope this doesnt sound like a total rant, because I do love the case very much. You have earned my respect as a modder. I'm sure that means SO much to you

Anyone know where to get a nice looking 70mm fan grill for my HSF ? DO they even make any ? I have looked forever.. dam Thermaltake and their odd size fans..

Where or how did you get those decals made or did you buy them? I like the rig bro...good job but i agree with clown on the fan grills...

The blue dragon and the Tribal vines are vinyl decals I found on ebay. Some guy on there makes alot of pimp decals featuring mainly dragons, tribal art, scorpions, spiders, and some other things heres a link. http://www.stores.ebay.com/id=18300723 these are some of the best and most unique decals ive ever seen.


the fan and matching rheobus, and crackle paint decals I made myself with my printer, a sheet of velium and a couple coats of clear coat.

sux on the 70mm, anyone ever try modding a volcano 7+ to fit a 80mm fan, or should I just wait and get the volcano 9 or wait for the 11 to come out? Id like to do some water cooling with UV reative green water, but thats alot of $$$, and I'm not too sure I want WC on my main lanning rig.

Skip the volcano sinks. Get a slk-800 or something like that. Nearly the same price and yourll be getting alot better temps with that.

Or, just go all out and do a water cooling setup.

I love the theme. I am not too down with all that "crackle paint' it just seems kinda un-slick to me? But other than that and the grill (which I am SURE you'll fix) I dig the blue/uv stuff, and the sealthed drives are phat... I am a little overwhelmed by all the decals, I like a slick theme a little more than the decals decals everywhere idea. good rig tho
