| I was planning on buying a new case for my family room, but have since decided to use the Matrix mod. So I have to add some final touches and upgrade the specs. This computer will be utilized more than my current project: Mobile Toolkit PC, so I've pulled some of the components from it for the Matrix. The new specs are: Athlon XP 3000+ 1GB PC2100 Geforce FX5600 256MB Soundblaster 7.1 200GB Seagate HD 400 Watt Antec Last edited by TheGreatSatan; 19-November-05 at 11:54 AM.. | ||

| Sweet Matrix theme! Diggin' the wrap! I think you need some green LEDs on the front or something, though. Not sure where to put it, but I think some on the front (somewhere) would be friggin' awesome. Got any dark pictures, to see the CCFL, loom, and PS in UV light? Edit: Another thing caught my eye. The metal showing on the CD/DVD drive or whatever. What about painting the shell black, to fit the inside theme? | ||

| if those vents in the front of the case are functional, i would try and add some sort of dynamic green backlighting to them, and a small, cheap lcd running the zmatrix screensaver and desktop replacement would be pretty cool too... link to program: http://zmatrix.sourceforge.net/index.html#Download screenshot of it in action: ![]() | ||

I have always wanted to use that little lcd....But, It says (Audio source with RCA output jack (note: single audio channel) Don't I need to have a RCA input to use as a second monitor?

For video, the screen has an RCA input. So any video card with TV-out (using an S-Video-to-RCA adapter, usually included with the vid card) should be able to connect to it and use it as a second monitor. For audio, it appears to have a minijack-to-RCA wire included, and it sounds like the minijack plugs into the screen. So you could probably replace that wire with a minijack-to-minijack wire and plug it into your computer (maybe with a Y-adapter, too, if you're using your normal PC speakers as well). But I don't know that I'd even use the audio on mine if I got one.
