This is the current case i am cutting & painting

Here is after the window cut notice the rough cut it will get sanded down later this weekend & paint will follow. These are the two images i will airbrush it just will take lots of time

chun li picture will be the front of case. The group shot will be for the whole side. Top of case will just be a fireball graphic of ryu's fireball

I choose this since its going on the 16th year of street fighter anniversary

Oh man, that is a nice case there, dont ruin her.

That cut doesnt look very straight at all, atleast not in the top right corner. Did you use a jigsaw or something?

Yeah I agree with neo, maybe there is someway that can be fixed. The case does have a lot of potential so keep it up.

haha i wanted to cut a bigger window but chose this smaller version instead due to some rails in the way wouldnt look right & yes the inside will also get painted im trying to go with a blue effect with a layer of UV paint to add a glow to it

I actually like these so called premod windows, especialy on the aluminum cases. LIke that one. But damn man, those air brushes will take you like a year. I cant wait to see it.

Not my image prefrence but i would like to see you pull it off. Good Luck!!!

yeah, to get those edges straight get a 2" barrel sander. like 5 bucks at Home Depot, Lowes or any hardware store. Slap it on a good and fast drill and smooth the edges. take your time and use a light touch. Zennzzo gave me that tip when working on a case. worked wonders except for up in the corners. Took a 1/4" sanding wheel on my dremel, cranked it up to about a 9 and with a LIGHT touch smoothed out the edge. worked like a charm.

i'm not sure if you've thought of it already but you should add in lighting to create the effect of a fireball or something from the window side. i think that would kick a$$. keep us updated

The case has been sanded down i took it the old fashioned way by hand paper

Got to see if tomorrow is a good enough day to apply first coats of primer

Case has been sanded down & rough edges filed down

Five coats of primer (gray color) was added first coats of paint Dark Navy Blue (outside layer) will go on this coming weekend

The case is in the final stage now All is needed is to airbrush the art on the case now. The UV paint is on the inside of the case just didnt have a black light to show you. System parts have been ordered Here is the specs of the system that will be inside.
New computer should be up and running within two weeks or less depends how long i take on airbrushing

Me and my friend are going to airbrush it since the group picture will take the most time. In the meantime the new computer will go inside my current blue lighter case when it arrives. When i have finished the airbrushing i will post finished case for everyone to see.

All my parts have come in now the new computer is running in my backup old case so it will look very messy since its a temp

New case will get airbrushed tomorrow I will post them as i go along with the images of the fireball (top) chun li (front) i might change it to ryu doing a super fireball for the front dunno yet I don't mean to brag but goddamn this computer is insane fast
