| Little update today, I had to work this morning and that took time out of my mod schedule.....grumble grumble ..... I cut out the excess acrylic in the base for one the weight and for the awesome LED array. I will be bolting the acrylic to the base of the case with flush stainless steel bolts. Since I will be only bolting the first layer I had to flush mount the bolt holes. While test fitting i realized the base didn't sit flush due to the rivets. Usen masking tape to index the rivets I cut out the area for the clearance of the 10 rivets. This is allot easier to do that removing them and deal with an alternative mounting method. Till next time, Peace. | ||

| The LAN is a bi annual event with over 75 gamers. So you needn't worry about it not happening. You should have been here when we had the LAN under a tent in auguest. Night time was allways a hit with all the action under the stars....ah good times. anyway on with another small update.... Just a small update while I get this rig ready for paint. Of course I have to get all the mounting holes in place first. The door is prepped while the epoxy was setting up on the top. After the epoxy was set up, the simple task of sanding it down was done. And ready for a thin coat of filler. The glue for the base and LCD bezel is on order. The cap wasn't on tight enough and evaporated, my only complaint on this water thin acrylic glue. Till next update, Peace | ||

| More work done today, the switches were preped and test fitted. I'm glad I tested this out with the fan in, I will put mesh over the fan...looks weird with out anything over it. The original grill was hex mesh. Sanded out the LCD bezel, jeeze what a pain doing this by hand. Had to make a custom sanding block for the corners. ![]() Untill next time, Peace ![]() | ||

| Holy crap, I can see where this is heading. Nice. On another note, how much money do I need to give you for about 25 square feet of light colored granite? I'll pick it up from you and, and as a bonus I will sleep in your living room and drink your beer. | ||

| Just a little more progress before paint... With the pre assembly of the top I realized that the top fan defiantly needed a grill to follow the theme. The blades alone just didn't cut it.....soooo I found out a great use for the dremel diamond cutting wheel. It works great with thin aluminium, cuts fast and clean. I also used some cardboard to protect the work bench. And there you have it, the last fabricated piece for "Jaded" ![]() Now we go paint!!! Then Twizted does his lighting magic! | ||

| Here we are again with more progress. Well after working for 12 straight days I finally got a chance to get some paint on Jaded. Unfortunatly I ran out of clear after 2 coats, no prob since i have to sand out pits and what not. This is where she sits now and waiting for the final 2 coats of clear. More images on the final piant on tuesday or wednesday. | ||
