Default crashing in FF ? dont lose your crap anymore

well ive been using several extensions for firefox for a while now and this one has continually saved my bacon more times then i care to count. especially for those ocers amongst us this will remember every page and area of sites you had open when FF crashed or was shut down through non conventional means. another great thign about this, is if you have to restart your pc, but arent through perusing say PCA, then using the control panel close the FF dll, and restart the pc, reopen FF and all the pages reload.

mozdev.org - sessionmanager: /crashrecovery/index

a few others i use/abuse are these
Firefox Extensions by Chuck Baker the firefox backup manager. it allows you to backup all your extensions, themes bookmarks cookies, saved passwords, anything and everythign you want to restore when you move hdds or recover from a crash.

FireFTP - The Free FTP Client for Mozilla Firefox fireftp, all in one ftp in firefox.
IE View - Launch pages in IE from Firefox for all the pages that dont load right in FF
apparently the crash recovery was news to a few people so i figured id share that to save further pain and suffering from the masses.

Except the news did me little good since I use IE and not Firefox!

Anybody know of a similar program for Internet Explorer?

Thanks for the tips, Jager!

I use Tab Mix Plus, which also includes an option for restoring crashed FireFox sessions. Hmm...Looks like Tab Mix Plus is the 8th most-downloaded extension, so I may not be sharing any major revelations here. Anyway, if I had to pick one and only one extension to use, that'd definitely be it.

For web development, I also use Image Zoom and the indispensible Web Developer Toolbar. And for my own surfing, I like Flashblock.
