Default Embedded Files in VB.NET

I've come to a halt in the updated F@H installer that I've been working on. For me, it's a pretty important feature, but one that I can do without, if need be, but I'd rather not.

What's going on is I am looking for a way to embed a series of files (The files that belong to the TrayIt application, specifically) into the .exe and extract them to a temp directory during run time.

I've googled for it and have found tons of resources for how to use an embedded Image file in runtime or how to play an embedded sound file in runtime, but nothing showing how to copy the files out from a Stream into a directory.

I've got the embedding portion down, so that part I don't need. What I need is an example of some code that will pull those embedded files out and send them to that directory that I mentioned before.

If anyone can help, you will gain my eternal gratitude, and some +rep.

Thanks!

Question Maybe

Maybe the right answer is to embed one PKZIP .exe and EXEC that.

or this seems close...

You sir, are awesome. That's exactly the kind of code I was looking for for VB.NET 2k3 . . . But I upgraded to 2k5 as my roomie had a copy and showed me a solution for that that's about half the steps.

However, if I ever go back to 2k3, I now know how to do it.

And, of course, the system says I have to spread some love around before I can +Rep you again, so I'll get you as soon as I can.

Thanks!!
