A question about PHP

I was just wondering if anyone could point me to a good source to learn php basics, and if I should learn something before hand? (HTML comes to mind). I've learned a little of Java and can dabble a little in HTML.

PHP is a server side scripting language. It's used to dynamically generate HTML pages based on a users input and other factors. Thus, it's a good idea to have a good working knowledege of HTML . By all means feel free to dabble with PHP but you will still be working with a lot of HTML , especially forms. Other than that you dont need any previous experience with programming allthough it helps.
