??? about opening a picture file

hey guys/gals, I received a cd of family photos from my brother but he neglected too tell me what program he used too open/save it. and when i called him, he did not remember, so what i want too know is: what is a good software program that can open the mosts kinds of file extentions related too pictures? thank you for your responses ahead of time

You could try photo impact, i use it and it opens up alot of my pictures for me with no problems

I would try Paint Shop Pro 1st

hey there, the extention is isten under doc. but i know for a fact that it isnt.

I also was going to say something like that a long the line, but i have photo impact 10 in my pc and that was the 1st thing that came to my mind.

As for the images being .doc documents, it is possible if the pics were imbedded in Word.
