Uhmmmm, ok. Let me see if this is right:
1. This is _your_ final project, meaning
a) you've been in the class for the entire time, putting in the attention and work,
b) you've been turning in assignments and getting feedback from the teacher/professor/educator/whatever,
c) despite a and b, you admit to being completely clueless about the implementation of the final project.

2. You make your initial post on a primarily hardware based website asking for assistance for said final project.

3. You make this initial post with a grand total of 3 days before the project is due to be turned in, and if it doesn't compile correctly, you get a Zero.

Having looked over my three derivations from your statement, are there any that aren't correct?

Now, having busted your chops just a little bit, what part of the vb.net project are you having difficulty wrapping your brain around? Which part of the code isn't working, the form, the buttons, the formulas? We aren't going to do it for you, but if you show what you've got so far, we might be able to offer up some pointers.

I was by Armstrong State last weekend on vacation - rollin down Abercorn on the way to my Mom's near Dauphin Park - why didn't you stop me then?

Seriously, this isn't hard. What precisely is the issue?

Hellooo there,

Unfortunately i've only read your post today , i might have been able to help out, but i'm posting cause i have a couple questions and a comment. First the comment - Graaille is 150% correct, those three points he mentioned are totally true, and you should remember those three points the next time you decide to ask for help.

My 1st question is - did you manage to get the project done and fully functional? If so, i'd love to see the implementation of your code if you don't mind. I read the assignment instructions and it seems like quite a very niffty but time consuming project. So if you wouldn't mind, could you attach what you managed to get done? It's interesting to see other peoples styles of coding .

Cheers mate

If i was taking even a basic, basic, basic intro to a .Net language and this was the final....in VB...and I'd learned the entire semester in C++ or even had a basic understanding of ActionScript for Macromedia products then I'd be able to belt it out in three days. I'm assuming by your single post and lack of reply you gave up on a reply from us, well then I give up on you!

To be honest I'm assuming you failed this class and I hope you come back to this site for more guidance, obviously you got no guidance from your friends and classmates and your teacher must not have made enough of an impression on you to actually get you to read your programming guide. Hang around this site enough and you'll figure out that he people here value hard work and DIY attitude, but you'll also probably learn more here in a shorter period of time when compared to almost anywhere else.

My suggestion given my previous assumption is that if you happen to read this message to grab a VB and VB.net book and just read them casually through the course of the break and possibly the next semester. That is...if your failure this semester hasn't turned you off to programming in general.
