| This stuff makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm taking a class about HTML and I'm figuring that out, but right before the final the teacher breaks out the XHTML and it makes no sense. Is their an easy way to convert HTML into xHTML?, because I'm at the point of paying someone to do it for me. | ||

| Basically, the point of XHTML was to make HTML into well-formed XML documents. This, of course, had no significance in the real world, where successful HTML is judged by passing the gamut of IE6, Firefox, and IE7, and if followed strictly can result in clumsy structures (like having to end tags that used to be standalone) and sometimes diminished expressive potential (there's nothing equivalent to the link "target" property in XHTML I can find) | ||
