N64 Super Smash Bros Question

i just got super smash brothers yesterday for my n64 i dug it out of my box at home and i went out and got a used copy of super smash bros.

but i dont have the expansion pack.... do i need that to play cause when i put the game in the n64 its just a black screen. no sound no nothing.

just wondering if i need the expansion pack to play or did i get a broken copy of super smash bros

looks like you got a broken copy. return it to wherever you got it. they should have a return policy for used video games.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Have you tried the old blowing into the Nintendo method. I heard that doesn't work but I'm stubborn
