Breaking news about a City of Heroes fansite!

Folks, I couldn't believe it. One of my favorite fansites might be shutting down if they can't find a buyer for it. If they do find a buyer, I'm not for sure how they might run the site.

Guess I had better make a few printouts of the site in case it gets shut down.

Yeah...opening bid is $500 for both sites.

heh i wouldn't be surprised if Beef Cake buys the site. he's got the money. well, at least he's paying for 5 accounts a month . ..

I hope whoever does buy it doesn't go overboard with changes. I really like the site the way it was. However, it did take a few months for him to correct a mistake that I pointed out on his site.

www.badge-whore.com was a real success, too.

Well, it looks like "Beefcake" did buy out these two sites. He mentioned that Badge-Whore is down because the server folks noticed that some files were too cpu intensive so he's looking for another host.

Yeah, it looks like BeefCake bought the site but BadgeWhore.com still isn't up. I checked out his Co* forums and they seem pretty informative on the badges and stuff.
