| OMG...thank you for bringing back those horrific memories: lag is far too mild a word to describe that experience. On the flip side, does anyone know if they've released their subscription numbers lately? I'm curious to know if i5/i6 had the DOOOooooM effect that was predicted. | ||

| From what I remember looking at the FY2005 4th Quarter Reports, they appeared skewed to me. They gave independent numbers for CoH subscribers and CoV subscribers, but didn't include a figure for people who have subscribed to both. The CoH subscription number declined slightly; however, I feel that many more left than was posted. The probable reason why the CoH subscription was so hgh is that they offer either one or both games for the same subscription price so a lot of new players that bought CoV probably bought CoH as well. Yeah, they lost a lot of players with I6/ED; however, CoH/CoV isn't their big money maker (even though it still turns a profit) so they must not have been all that concerned. Yeah, I still play but I'm a simple minded kind of guy that likes the game. Rob | ||
