Wierd problem when running CoH on my desktop

As I recently found out over the christmas break, I can run two CoH clients at one time on my computer (I was at home with only my laptop).
After finding this out, I thought that maybe I can use this to help myself get closer to the healing badges for ID. My setup before was to have my laptop and desktop each be running CoH with ID healing and a tank taunting. As I bring my laptop to school wtih me to take notes, I can only do this when I'm home and not using either computer. Once I found out, I could run two clients on one computer, I thought that maybe I can have my desktop running it while I'm at school as well.
I tested it out on my laptop and it works fine. Just need to switch between each client occasionally to prevent a mapserver disconnect (it disconnects the coH window in the background if not active pretty quickly). I set up my mouse autoclicker and I got a script running that works great to keep healing, switch between the windows, and taunt the mob I'm using so they don't run away.
the wierd thing is, my laptop can run this set up fine but when I tried to do the same on my desktop, a wierd problem arose. I had the two windows up but when I tried to switch between them, they would both freeze and the mouse would lock up for about 4 seconds.
Thing I can't understand is why my laptop can switch between them with no delay and why my desktop can't. Both computers have up to date drivers for everything.
Desktop:
AMD Athlon XP 2800+
Abit NF7-S v2.0
2x512mb Corsair ram
BFG 6800 Ultra AGP
Ultra X-Connect 500 watt PSU

Laptop:
Dell Inspiron 9300
1.6 ghz
1 gig Kingston Ram
6800 Go

Hopefully I can figure out what's going on with this. Might just have some spyware imbedded that spybot and ad aware couldn't find. Any suggestions any of you have would be greatly appreciated. I might go and post this on PR tomorrow too so more people see it.

heh even if I got this going 24/7, It would still take me over 6 months to get Empath . .. and that's if I never play CoH for that time period. Bah, I need a third account to play on while the other 2 work on the healing . ..

heh after typing all of that up, the problem seems to have mysteriously solved itself.

heh what could also help me get these healing badges is if i could get a kinetics and an emp to cast speed boost and adrenalin boost on me all the time. my Aid Other recharge speed should go through the roof with those.

any of you by any chance have either of those and are willing to leave it in a mish overnight?
