| Following in Rob's footsteps, I've decided to post up my build for Incendia Dicio. While we're both fire blasters, we definetely have different play styles as Rob likes to keep his distance while I'm one of the few melee blasters out there (well one of the few that stays alive most of the time). Incendia Dicio is currently in badge hunting mode so while he's not at his optimal right now, he still kicks villain butt all over Paragon City. -------------- Don't really have a story for Incendia since I'm not that great at writing like Rob is. The name is Latin and apparently I translated using the wrong verb since it was supposed to mean something like Firestorm but someone in game informed me that it meant "I control fire" so he thought I was a troller. -------------- I chose a blaster as I read that they deal the most damage and one of the things I like doing in all games is maximizing damage on the enemy (should've seen me when I played FFX and FFX-2. 160 hours and 120 hours respectively on each to max out ALL stats in both games). I originally started out with a Fire/Cold blaster (Draygo) but didn't like how I kept running out of endurance all the time (while not knowing that's always a problem at low levels) so I started a Fire/Energy blaster for the sole purpose of getting Conserve Energy. My gameplay style has since evolved to where I'm usually fighting next to the scrappers after firing off an initial firebreath and fireball since fire and energy combined have three great melee attacks that do some very nice damage. -------------- 3 Dmg/Rng HOs in Blaze, 1 Dmg/Acc HO in Inferno. After i5's change with cone attacks using the same range enhancements all Dmg/Rng HOs will go into firebreath and the current ones will be moved at next respec. On the last respec blazing bolt was the last power I took because when I had it six slotted before, I barely used it. Blaze does about the same amount of damage when both are six slotted and there's no wait time for blaze to work so no wasting the 10 seconds of Build Up+Aim. After I get all the healing badges and take out the medicine pool, I'll probably six slot it again. Power thrust is a required first power to take and I only use it if someone is getting too close and if I just don't outright kill it with Total Focus. It's also fun to use with Bonfire since I can play catch with a villain. Bonesmasher even though only one slotted still deals quite a bit damage. More slots will be added when healing powers are taken out. Total Focus is great to use on bosses and Lts. Deals more damage than Inferno does but to only one villain and disorients them for an extremely long time. Conserve Energy is probably one of the most important powers to this build since with this, I never have to stop fighting ever. Even with i5's new change to Inferno, there is barely any down time as I just activate Conserve Energy, use Inferno, pop a blue, and continue fighting like nothing happened. Aim and Build Up only have three slots right now. I need to get on the test server to actually time out the max recharge rate for each before adding anymore. As it is, it recharged fairly quickly that I can use them for each mob I encounter (never needed to use it more than once in a fight since everyone pretty much falls down and dies almost immediately. GMs are the exception ).There's a jump enhancement in Sprint since I just used Prestige Slide now and if I ever need a little tiny boost, well why not ![]() The two Travel/End Red HOs will probably be moved to a different toon once I get one up that uses Fly or Teleport. Super Jump barely uses any end as it is and I never use it when fighting anyways. i5 apparently changed the goo interrupt at Hamidon so now I can use my healing powers during raids. Little extra boost for the blaster doctor! Rest are pretty much self explanatory. My original build before using my first respec (at level 50 no less) was made to maximize survivability so I had went with fire mastery for Fire Shield and Rise of the Phoenix. I thought that Fire Shield was exactly the same as the tanker version but alas, it doesn't have the disorient res that I was aiming for. So optimal build before had Acrobatics, Stealth, and Fire Shield. Combined with Combat Jumping, this gives me res to Holds, Immobilizes, and Knockbacks. Fire Shield gives me some res to damage and stealth is great for setting up a nice Firebreath attack as well as improving my def. edit: Just noticed that I put lvl 60 in the title instead of 50 . .. I sent a pm to GK and hopefully he can change it for me. | ||
