Fan Controller LED's

i have this fan controller and i want to change the led's b/c i have no blue in my comp. is there a site that can help me?

I've never seen that thing in person, but I would say remove the PCB and replace the LED's. Some more pics would help.

All you have to do is pull out the pcb and then unsolder the blue leds then solder back in the new ones...very simple if you have ever used a solder iron before.

If the LED's are like my Vantec then you will have a hard time unsoldering them. The thickness of the PCB is what matters, show me a pic of the PCB and the connections of the LED's and I'll provide further information.

I just soldered in new leds into my vantec fan controller and it was a piece of cake...Here you can see a pic of the controller on the ground with one new led in it...

should i get 5 or 3mm size LED's? whatever fits?

Look at, or measure your original LED's, and buy the same size.

5mm led's are about the size of a rounded pencil eraser. 3mm are smaller than this smily face
