i have made two server towers into one for a 4ft tower and now i need a theme and i was thinking about covering it in fuax fur. has this been done before? how did it come out? any pics? do you think it would look cool?

I don't know if it's been done before, but it shouldn't ever be IMO!

Doing something like that just to be "Different" is not a good idea..I mean do you reeealy want a CP that looks like that after all?

I think not..it souds more like, "Hey what I can I do to get attetnion and stand out in the crowd" kinda plan.

Being unique is good, as long as it's "Slick" and not gaudy.

How about doing something based on a favorite movie, PC game or sport?

I have yet to see a football, basket ball or something along that line shaped PC, though that doesn't meen it hsn't been done (Kinda hard with what you have to work with though)

Dig deep and "Be the Box" and let it tell you what it wants to be...and I'm sure it doesn't want a shag rug!

Yes what you ask has been done before. Someone
covered a PC once with a kind of fur that looked like cow hide.
However you should give consideration to the heat factor if you do this.

well, i'd say that the majority of pc modders arent diehard sports fans, though i'll most likely get a bunch of responses telling me im wrong, which is why i've said the majority probably isnt

back to the topic at hand

faux fur would create a whole world of heating issues, though im thinking you could use the fur for trimming along the edges or something like that, that way, theres still faux fur, but no real heating issue

but there would still be the problem of it being

As long as you provide plenty of air flow fur shouldn`t be an issue.How about a Zebra pattern or A brown Bear.Heck with ice cold alternative cooling it could be white fur and call it the Polar Bear!!!lol.Jo

Just a giant 4 foot tall red and black case that looks like the Norsefire symbol. Thats all you need. Make the red cross glow and the crossmembers be slot loader drives lit from within with red LED's.
