I would paint red outside and black inside, then have some red led fans and red IDE cables.

Or I could go with a color theme more closely tied in with the sabre's new logo which has more gold than blue (which is horrid, you can see it at http://fixthelogo.com/ and maybe sign the petition which has over 26k signatures now) and have gold outside and blue inside. Although I do like what you guys suggested with the red outside black inside.

by gold, do you mean bling bling sparkle gold or like orange with a hintlet of gold?

in my opinion, their old logo looked a lot nicer ..but hey man!!!! its up to u!!! whatever color u feel comfortable with by all means do it...i just like the idea of a silver/black/red trimming outside...and an all red inside.. like perhaps mostly silver..incorporate some back fans/ fan grills...OR!!! OR!!!! maybe the other way around...an all black case, with some aluminun fans and some silver painted trim...with an all red inside...oooo i like that...

well yeah the reason i'm not realling liking the gold idea is most gold spray paint will probably dry to a yellow-orange color and look like crap. it was mainly my friends suggestion to go with the blue/gold i didn't like it too much :-p.

My top choice was the black case with red interior, but i hadn't thought about using the red on the outside which could look really nice. As for the silver, not really sure where I could incorporate it... maybe somewhere on the front bezel with the power switches and such. Gunna have to think about this for quite a bit.

Black is a good outside colour because it tends to match off-the-shelf hardware well. You'll have the devil's own time matching any metallic or odd colour, so if you don't fancy popping the front panels off your brand-new peripherals, it's a safe choice.

hmm yeah true... everything on my desk is either black, white, silver, or a mix of those.

yeah i have to agree on that... i think blue/gold does sound cool, but i was leaning away from it because i'm not sure how gold paint will turn out. Has anyone used gold paint and can tell me if it looks pretty good or not?

I haven't used gold on the interior, but I have used it on my mouse and keyboard. The Krylon Gold worked out great. Would have been better if I'd stayed busy and clear coated it, but I polished them out w/Mother's Plastic Polish and it came out great and has held up very well.

that actually looks pretty nice, maybe i will give blue/gold a shot, and if it doesn't come out that great i can just redo it black/red.
