| Us plastics has been more expensive lately. And they seem to be cutting the amount of products they carry. They are based here in town and last I heard....the old man that runs it is not feeling the best lately.... Maybe they are going through some big changes...who knows... | ||

| You know, back in the day before anyone did this, Digi and I thought up a case design with window tint. Of course time went on and finally someone did one....anyway you can apply the same theory to a window as with the tint jobs..... What I'm getting at, is you can add layers of tint to get your desired shade. If the smoked isn't darkenough just ad a layer of tint to darken it up. | ||

| You could always use model "Transparent " tinting paint...I used to use it to "Blue" out the windows of my car models ![]() I duno how well it would work on large peices, but it's a thought! NP Bro, I am slightly puzzled by your choice of smilies (Embarassment?!?!) Anyways, just doing what ya' asked...that's my job
And this was possible In the end all that matters is what will work best for you... I just remembered this little "Trick" and thought it was a great tip for others who may read this, and/or your future mods..never know when you may find a need for it ![]()

I'm really shocked that this wasn't the first idea proposed. It took 6 posts to get that one out! Doing that layering trick leaves alot of room for adjustment so you can get the 'look' that you want. Here is another old trick, using red or blue cellophane. I bet if you put it on in conjunction with the tint, you could add a nice deep red or blue hue to the window. Just a thought . . .

| thanks for the idea but im looking for a black one... also probably i should contact tribal overkill cuz he has a store near him that sells tinted black acrylic (if he doesnt mind doing that for me) ! and i found that using the mirror film on the acrylic can cause it to create air bubbles cuz acrylic is flexible unlike glass ! (found this on tribal overkill project worklog)so yeah lol! xD | ||
