Do you remember the Cbox?!

I recently had the pleasure of corrosponding with Robert Jacobsson, creator of these custom made cases. He lives in Sweden. His day job is a designer for Volvo. In his free time he enjoys building custom cases. He stopped running his website, the-cbox.com to concentrate on other things. He was known for generously sharing his design files. I asked if I could host his files on my site and he kindly obliged.

Robert has posted all of the CAD files neccessary here to build your own Cbox II Se

People have told me they're fielding quotes from machine shops for making all the parts. I'll let ya know what kinda numbers I hear if anyone gets back to me.

Man, I keep thinking to myself "it's probably expensive to make all the parts, and what fun is it putting together a case from plans (instead of DIY)"... Then I look at the pics and I don't care anymore.
Do you think it would be possible to put together a bunch of orders through one machine shop and maybe get a bit of a volume discount?

So, how about innovating the fins into a rad, or even cutting a grove out of the bottom of them to place a rad, and turn it into a WC case, lots of customizations could be done with that case, its like buying a premod, just i this case, its using a premod design

ohh yea he said dont put a window in it, read te design note in the DIY guide
