Making a Chenming look Different

Aight, I did some PIMP photoshop work, and created some nice window previews, ect. It looks good, and it looks different

But, before I take a dremel to the case, I was wondering

I have a blue chenming (look, it was on sale w/ a 450w psu)

Top Window Mod
Side window
2 Green CCs
Spawn (Face) window applique , 12''
-OR-
Hammer and Sickle window applique, 12''
Cut and Plexied Front arch
Military Switch Power On button
Military switch for CCs
Stealthed drives
6 Port custom baybus (green and white leds)

Need your feedback b4 I build

My suggestion:

Top Window, and if you feel up to it CDROM window.
Acrylic PSU cover
Cut and Plexied front arch (I assume you mean door window mod), then use EL wire around the edge of it to offset it.
Stealthed drives
Military switches for the CCs, and an illuminated vandal switch for your power (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ele-70.html)
Side Window with hammer & sickle applique
Bottom window (have a great glow around the bottom of the case)

Well, they're not pimp as they will be, but I get my parts on wednesday and my mod parts on friday. Unfortunatly, I wasn't able to cut a custom side window (which would have been mondo pimp), because the case in question had a window already. It was on sale, so I couldn't resist. I plan to add side USB and Game ports.

WHile the Vandall switch is ballin', Its also damn expensive. 25 bucks if my memory remembers.

Also, bubble cathodes in the cover. OH YEAH!

WEll consider this. During the time during my last post and this one, I drew up some ideas. My scanners broke so I'll do the best to discribe:

Thermaltake Ducting Mods on side and top fans
Bottom window
Side Bubble lights
:|_|: <-- dots are CC, 6"
Flat Hyperlights (UV) to illuminate cables and PSU
and
where the ribs are, fan holes
Pimpmiester mods fan grills
Underbody Lazer LEDS and window

Oh, and did I mention, I need your help to make the Chenming look different. I'm not saying my ideas are!

I have the antec version. I didn't cut any new windows, but rather gutted it, and anodized the entire interior gold, and repainted all the purple plastic the same as the external color, an brand new four-coat of Black Pearl Metallic, courtesy of Colors by Boyd. It's going to match the motherboard I have on order, the Chaintech Apogee. It may not be the most original, but it's clean, and it's distinctive. If you like the case, screw those that call it a premod and be content-just do what YOU want. If you like their idea use it, but don't feel that you have to go insane just for difference sake. Just be happy.

I've really changed my views on premods over the last few months. It's hard NOT to buy a premodded case.

Now it is just a matter of how well you can mod your premod.

YES! Aluminum Tread Plating!

Y'know, I went to the home depot to get some tile, and found this tread plate, the kind they put on truck boxes and ramps, with the little divots

I shall accent my computer edges and interior with it, and it will look mondo cool. Normally I'd cover the whole damn thing with it, but its so expensive. I'll put it on the frontal ribs and on the bay doors.

How do we like those steel plated apples?

no, it'll look good, b'c the highlights will be all tribal and stuff. My sketch looks pretty good though, so I'll stick to it.

Before I click on that link, are the pictures in the case gallery? The reason why I ask this, is because the site was just recently hacked, and all the case gallery pictures were replaced with pictures of naked men.

PS Was yours the car computer?

AND OH BOY DOES IT LOOK GOOD!

I plan on raising the metal and putting leds under each accent peice to create a glow effect

Looks like a standard Chenming with a door gone transparent+some appliques...looks no differant from the millions of other dragon cases out there.

Which isnt a bad thing...it is one kickass solid case

The Diamond-Platign would look badass on a black case.
