Plastic front molding

I have an uber-generic case and I was wanting to make a new front plastic molding for it. I am wondering what kind of materials i need and tools. I know this was in another thread, but no one answered it. Also could some one show me one that is done or maybe a guide to it if possible.

Rather then building from scratch, I would use fiberglass, epoxy resin and bondo to reconstruct your existing bezel.

That way, you can still use the original hook ups etc to mount it to the steel chassis, and everything fits together seemlessly!

I thought about filling it, but it has this nasty wave patern in it that runs the entire length of it top to bottom. with like a half an inch deviation on it twice, and i dont want to use that much putty on it. plus i want a door to cover my drives with.

Will do when i get a camera... My sister has one but she aint home at the moment and Im not a covert ops agent, so i will have no chance of finding it in the **** hole she calls a room.

Well V4ampiro, when she gets home. Waite untile she goe in here room. Then kick in the dorr and demand the digicam. If you are lucky, she either: will be too drunk to refuese, or not have the witts to refuse and you will be home free, or ... your pops will come running into the hall with his trusty shotgun in hand looking for some poor foo to blast...

Well I have a generic case with those nasty curves from top to bottom. Believe it or not I used Poly Instafil to reshape my front panel and it turned out great. Just sand the plastic down with rough sandpaper and slap that Instafil on. Worked charms for me. Or if you opt for something more expensive, use that bondo stuff.

Nice plan Feral, accept you forgot one point taht is trather important, she is a third degree blackbelt in mudukwan(sp?), and could take me without a second thought.

Lol that is a lways true, I have a lot of **** on her. The only problem with that is i said i wouldnt tell about it, and im not going to break my word.
