| I have a proliant server case (see pic) it is almost the same as the one pictured. I also have an old school (circa 1991) server case in beige 39" tall, with 12 drive bays. I need some ideas the hardware I already have, just need some ideas for one of these cases or just about any other case, I can procure almost anything with minimal problems. Oh yeah I may be a n00b here but not everywhere, nice community you have here and I love the fact you are running a vBulletin db! Last edited by NeCrOmAnCeRoFsIn; 12-January-06 at 09:51 AM.. Reason: Forgot to add the image, if I find one or my cam I will show you thoe old school case! | ||

| I just love that case!!! Been looking for something similar all over... but it isn't easy to find it "empty" here... It is usually "filled" with hardware... there have been lot's of different setups for those Proliant servers... Most really cool designs I've seen are done with Yeong Yang Cubes... I've always felt these Proliant cases have even more potential! IMHO, they just scream "watercooling"... I'd probably make a "Borg" Cube out of it! Resistance is Futile..... YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED! TDR I like this one a lot; | ||

| heavy modding of the back panel will be needed. The upper case could house a triple rad, the forward fan could be removed and a slick lcd panel installed, and still have room for the pump up front! The case is currently in use by a friend until they get a new psu! I should have it back soon. Need some more ideas, if you think of anything let me know. I am gonna do a search to show you the exact specs of this case maybe then you can grab some ideas. edit: ![]() here is the case front edit:here are the specs on said pc currently residing in the case pictured my hardware is close to the same, I think.
