Default Help with first mod

Ok I want to mod a case so I dont have a "premod" anymore here are some of my ideas. I would like a green/black color scheme.
I was thinking about getting this case just because its so cheap, but if you know of anyother cases that would be good for a first mod and arent too expensive i would like suggestions..

I cant decide if I would rather paint the outside green or black. If I painted it black on the outside then the inside would be green and vice versa. But then I would want to make a window and I was wondering what I should use to cut it. Is there any alternative to using a dremel? And then I think I might want to put a blowhole on the front. So how does this sound? Here is a sweet drawing I made in paint

On a side note how much do you think this will cost? Like all the paint and whatnot
EDIT: Well now that I look at it those 80mm fans are kinda pointless. So maybe those wouldnt be there but you kinda get the idea.

Nice case to tear up!

You can use either a jigsaw or a nibbler to cut the window instead of a dremel (I'd go with a nibbler - it's quiet, slow cutting and doesn't deform the sheetmetal like a dremel does)
You'll need at least a holesaw and droll for those blowholes (assuming you don't have a dremel or smilar )

As for paint - if you want to do a good job, I'd buget quite a bit for it - use automotive primers/paints where you can and it'll pay off. Since this will be your first mod though, there may be some setbacks which MAY require repainting panels etc (been there, done that) so adding an extra can (or 2) may be wise

I've usually spent around NZ$100-150 (rough conversion: USD$50-75) on paint, primers (etch, surfacer and plastic adhesion promoter), clearcoat and rubbing compound - Oh, don't forget buying a respirator too!

Well I have kinda changed my mind on the case, I dont want a complete crap case so I figured this one would be good

I still want to do the others thing I mentioned though. I cant decide what kind of paint to use though. I want it to look kinda like a black lian li's finish because im thinking about using this for a top blowhole (black one)

Any links to paint would be nice, thanks.

BUMP

Ok well I think this paint will be good
http://www.krylon.com/main/product_t...roduct_details

I would get gloss black for the outside, and then probably emerald green for the inside. I would like somthing a little lighter green though. Does anybody know of some good guides for painting the inside of your case?
