Default I'm a cutter... Case Cutter that is

I was wondering if cutting

  • 2x 10mm

  • 2x 20mm

  • 2x 40mm

  • 2x 60mm

  • 1x 80mm

holes in the top of my case will produce significantly more dust and noise if i do not cover them with a screen of some sort and will it create better cooling? P.S. THe 80mm will have a fan in it so i dont think that that will be a problem.

air will kind of move in a circle with just 1 fan and alot of near by holes. dust wont be a problem if the fans blow out and the intakes have filters.

Make sure you have a fan in each hole and the fans are blowing all the same way (im just talking about the top panel)

Is putting 9 holes in the top of case part of your design plan? Or are you just thinking about it for more cooling?

Sounds like a good place for modders mesh.

I have an idea that you use low RPM 40mm's or 60mm's all bunched together so they are silent, yet still create a slight breeze, which will keep your case very cool.

Yes, but I feel its my obligation to help the new ones around here @ PR, as they need someone to help guide them in the direction myself and others are.

Thanks, I like helping you guys out and the occasional getting help back.

Use modders mesh and have multiple quiet fans behind it all bunched together all blowing outwards to let the case breath.
