| I really dont wanna destroy my cooler master stc-t01, not only cus it cost so much, but I am limited to side plate mods only. Anyone know of anything similar that is easy to cut through? I looked everywhere for a chassis like this and found nothing. PS: I cant use a regular aluminum chassis due to the fact that I use 2x 10k scsi drives with the giant heatsink from the Ultimate HDD Cooler on each of them (which means 3.5" cage is useless for now, and I have the hdd cage fan blowing on them (instead of the cheap and very loud 4cm fans that the hdd heatsink came with). | ||

| Welcome to PimpRig! I'm not sure I understand your question, though... do you want to 'mod the sidepanel(s) of your Stacker, are you looikng for a sheetmetal/aluminium panel to use instead of your original panel(s) or do you want to buy & mod a case that looks like a Stacker? I'm a bit puzzled here... TDR ![]() | ||

I dont think I can get panels for it, so I guess I am looking for a case to mod that looks like a Stacker.

So the biggest problem is finding a case with room for all those drives? I'm thinking you should look for the biggest, cheapest beige-ist case you can find, mod the hell out of it & keep the stacker as a home for your bits until you've finished. As for a suitable drive cage, I'd gut the existing one in the new case & make my own - all you really need is two flat panels with a 90 degree bend at the top & bottom to secure it to the case, drill a few holes to fit the drives & Bob's yer uncle ![]()

Aha! Ok... in your case I'd just go for a Chieftec Big/Server Tower... They are fairly cheap and have LOTS of room! (like the attached one BA-01B-B-B) You can even get sidepanels with a window for them... TDR
