Hey everyone...

I just put up some pics today of my case and got ripped by a few comments. Not everyone has a nice camera and I just wanted to show my case and the hard work I put into it. I didn't have time to post here because I had to head to work..


I just wanted to ask the admin to remove my photos and say thanks to those who left nice comments. It just shows me that this is not the place to share....

Dude... did you scope the galleries before posting?

Yeah, you got a nice rig, but the fact is, this is a tough crowd. I had one guy tell me my rig sucked, and I was an asshole... I figured he was an idiot, and relied on the fact my score was pretty decent.

You had better toughen that skin of yours if you want to make it in this world.

I can't even tell where he really got "ripped". I'd love to have a rig worthy of a 4 star rating!

I actually think its a pretty cool rig. I guess hi RIPPING was because he has small pics and they wernt in a college.

Seriously. Grow a pair, Nancy. I though your case was pretty f*cking cool. Simple, elegant, and apparently well thought-out. But to turn tail & run from a forum just because not everyone bows down before your 1337 |\/|0|)|)1|\|9 skillz is just being way to thin-skinned (like DS said, this is a tough crowd). And in the grand total of ten replies (to eight friggin' posts), there wasn't anything that I would consider "ripping" your actual mods.

Hey Yo, We all put in alot of time and Love into our rigs. If you got the shizit and you know it in your heart, show some heart and don't be a puss. Ya only get flak from people that care!

Damn nice case man. No, you didn't deserve the small amount of $hit you took...but just take it in stride. And if you need some help putting together a collage of photos for a single posting. I'd be glad to help.

Since when does being a tough crowd involve bashing the **** out of people's work? DDK that was pretty light ripping compared to what i've seen here, sadly. Nice case though, looked incredibly well planned out.

DDk ,i like your case alot (i just saw it) looks alot on what im trying to figure out all the things needed but done in a minamal way.very laid out anfd well planned.about your thread just remember that you cant please everyone all the time.if they had valid points then think about theim if they were just attacks then forget theim floks and move on to your next mod....this is one person that is waiting to see what you have in store for your next case.

dude, i did not rip on you...so what if you don't have the best camera...borrow a better one...from the looks of it, the case looks bada$$, but it's hard to see details and specifics when the pics are like 300x200...and some more info on what you may have done...the whole lettering thing for the fans??how did u do that?? like everyone said, toughen up, and prepare to get your balls busted, its a life learning experience...im sorry if my one comment is gonna make you not come back to PR..this is a great community...not just a website...i login from home, work, school, laptop, pda....whereever i can, to see if anything has changed....dont back out now, u know about PR, stay...hell, send me your comp pics and ill mkae a damn collage, and make the pics a lil bigger....

Hey DDK, recognized your rig and your nick from Bit-Tech. It's a very sweet case you've got there, and don't worry about these clowns, they'll bust into you no matter what you've got. Think of it as a right of passage kinda. But i know you've got some skills and some great input, stick around, we could always use a guy like you.

It's not that I'm running from some little teeny bopper with a smart mouth, I am not afraid of what someone will say about my case, good or bad.

But as DuckWarrior posted in the gallery:

Exactly. I realize that my old dig camera and webcam are crap. I couldn't count up the times I said that in my project log. It shouldn't stop someone from posting the pics if they want to show their case though. Are they big beautiful, crisp hi rez pics? NO. Does it give you an idea of what I have done and the work that went into it? I would HOPE so.


Believe me if I had a 3 megapixel camera on hand I'd throw enough pics up to make ya sick! But I don't. There have been several times throughout the mod I have been able to get pics with a good camera. But none of the final case yet...

An example is posted below...but do you really want to see a case not finished??

Thanks for the nice comments, when I do have good pics I'll replace the webcam shots. To the ones who don't like the small crappy pics, all I can say BUY ME A NEW CAMERA MAN!!

Hey DDK that is a very nice Rig IMHO

There are a few pricks in every place, just ignore them. I mean look at the rating, you have a 5 star rating on your case and its defeintly well deserved. Keep up the good work

DDK, honestly, you have grounds for the way you feel, but really, you werent justified in creating an entire thread and calling it "First and last post" just so you can whine....

so much for last, speaking of which you wont be the last person i see do that or cry about how someone ragged on you in the galleries...get over it...we all did...some more than once (myself)

honest opinion, i actually like your case and i really do hope you stick around and learn and enjoy this community, then after a while, you too will most likely feel like heading into the galleries to bust someones pride wide open, its how we keep the morons seperated from the 1337, and make those whom we offend, want to prove us wrong or stick around even more...and eventually they get better and by that time, they are already making fun of a premod in the galleries, lol
