I am gathering the parts for my new project, Project Black Box. I'm looking for a mid-tower ATX box with little or no lights or curves on it. The box will eventually be flat black with no lights and no markings on the front of it.

Any suggestions for a case????? I've done some research and found some noname boxes, but all of the ones I have seen have NO features at all. That may be what I get in the long run, but if I could find one that is tooless and maybe has a modular drive cage, that would be the shizzlackle.

Any sugg's???

I have a mobo, cpu, hsf, dvd, psu already. I'll be hunting for some fans (black of course), memory, a drive, and a video card.

Once I have the case... I'll post pics.

if you want to go a little wider, you could go with one of these - they're just under mid tower height, but wider - maybe custom make a flat acrylic bezel for it??

No worries dude - just be aware that because they are steel, they are sturdy but they are pretty heavy too(shipping will be harsher than usual)

HEY ... what about the case im using for silver surfer. the global win ycc61f1 otherwise known as the akasa eclipse-62, it comes in black (inside too), made of aluminum, and has lots of great features like thumbscrews for everything (even the drive cage) front pci plate for like a front mounted molex thing or whatever, and is very wide 9 1/2", the only curve is the front but its very minor.
