I have just purchased my new computer, and I'm looking to cut a window in the case, and light the inside. I have an Abit NF7-S motherboard, and a Gainward GeForce 4, both of which have a red pcb, and was contemplating red lighting to highlight the color of the board. However, I also want to use a UV light, and I'm not sure what the result will be.

Will a UV cathode interfere with a red cathode, or will it look acceptable? I have seen cases with many colored lighting with no problems (eg. green and blue, red and blue), is it the same for UV and another color? I would just go out and buy both and test it out, but I'm pretty poor at the moment, and I don't want to waste my money.

Any advice would be appreciated.

SVC.com has some multi-colored CC's for a reasonable price.
You could maybe try one of those to get an idea, instead of having to purchase multiple lights.

in my new case, i have two UVs, one red, and one blue....when the red UVs are on and blue is off, my UV sensitive cables glow brightly under the red light...its almost sexy ..j/k...the blue and UV is actually a worse match, the blue is so bright it mostly drowns out the UV lights...go ahead and do the red man, you'll be happy...just get two...one on the top, one on the bottom, and put the red across the back

Here is my Romeo case, it has two 12" UV CC's and one one 12" Red CC. The other pic is with just the UV on.

Hey Duck, where can I get my hands on a 120MM PimpRig Fan Guard?

I've got 2 UV CCFL Fans and 2 blue CCFL 12" tubes. With both on, the UV lights are barely visible (then again, they are less powerful) but they still make the UV reactive dye light up in the tubes. Red would probably be a better match

The Grills are Trademarked and were custom made for me. I gave Loki the Cad file to see if he can get them made for PR members cheap.

But I have two 12" UV CCFL's...and I can turn on my Blue or Red CCFL's and everything works out great, all the stuff that needs to glow glows...I might even consider getting a 4" UV CCFL since I'm gonna add more glow stuff..just to reach the hard spots

FYI (all PIMPS)

Loki emailed me the Cad file for the PR fan grill. But almost 2 weeks ago my resivoir cracked on me and flooded my PC. Thankfully nothing was toasted. I should have my CAD machine up and running by the 16th of this month. Just waiting on my D-Tek WB to get here. I also to the time to gut my PC and give it a painting and also added a chevett heater core mod to it. I will be posting pics once it is all said and done.

Eh, IMO Green and UV wouldnt look very good unless you had a lot of green maybe.
