Most definately the Lian Li pc 71, the thing is a freakin beast, it is what I use. A little pricey, but everyone knows about lian li quality, and you can't go wrong with an all aluminum case. They have it in either silver or black anodise, not to mention with a full tower beast like that, the mods are endless. Here is a link

Thats a really nice case.
Good price too.
Have you looked into the Antec full tower cases, they do a better job for servers with the sliding drive bays and the easily removable hdd bays.

that looks good. do you know if i can do multiple hdds on raid stripping, like more then 2? If you can im planning on having like 2-4 hdd's.

well the new antec case like the one you posted Red have 3 hd activity lights im pretty sure. i know the ones we use at work for the systems we build do and that one looks like it does also. if not just make a bank of them. i think twisted did something like that on his. i bet he'd be will to help you if you wanted.

i think im going to go with the antec case because it has more hidden 3.5" bays, then that other case i posted. Plus it has easy, removable hdd cages which is a big plus in my book

Ace that case is nothing but a rebadged cheiftec with a different front bezel and the coolermaster badge, and a spiked price tag.

That is correct.
However, antec puts in their power supply and a nice warranty on the case that cheiftec does not. It makes it work it when your case comes in the mail looking like a bag of mashed potatoes or when you blow your power supply out of stupidity.

As of for me, I am using cheiftec only cause I void every warranty that came with my computer. lol.

It's got 6 x 3.5" bays and 4 x 5 1/4" bays, very similiar to the case I have. Very nice case and it comes with a good psu. At least mine did. TruePower 430. Excellent air flow and built like a tank. I repainted mine, but it comes with a much nicer finish than the Cheiftecs.

ya thats going to be the case im going with. but im strapped for cash right now. so its got 6 x 3.5" bays huh. thats gr8 cause im going to have an aweasome hdd setup and im going to need ALOT of room.

Antec Sonato(???), I think thats what its called; their generally sweet, basic cases to mod.

If youre looking for cheap head to ebay. I got an AT full tower case for like $20. Just gotta mod the back a bit and a new mobo tray to fit ATX. You also will have to buy a new switch or modify the ATX one.

Here is an option:

It has: 5 x 5 1/4 bays
6 x 3 1/2 bays (internal)
1 x 3 1/2 bays (external)

Great case to mod.
