You guys are all creative, so i give you a challenge....

WHAT is the single most IMSPRESSIVE mod that could be done for under 5 bucks.

Who ever can think of the best one has the privledge of raiding my refrigerator if they want.

Stealthing your drives is up there on the list, but my suggestion is this.

Cleaning up your wires. Costs nothing but time, and people will ask dumb questions about how your drives are connected.

Wires can determine a good mod from a kick ass one.

Imagine one of DW's rigs, with spaghetti inside. Or one of Coelacanth's rigs with the rats nest... one of BA's, one of Putwigs... The caffiene machine, wires everywhere? They'd still be good... but its the attention to detail that sets it off. IMO, best cheap mod.

Toggle Powerswitch mod.. cost me 2.96 plus my 10% discount from when i worked at walmart.. that would have to be the coolest and cheapest mod i've done

I second the wiring clean up. It is challenging, the results look killer, and it can be free (if you need it to be)!

Also, a blue LED fan (although perhaps cool) is not by any means a mod.

lets see.....using the pavement on your back patio as sandpaper = $0

using permanent black marker as touch up paint = ~$1

finding about one hundred thousand uses for pci back brackets and motherboard standoffs, and constructing a functional card cooler or complimentary cooler = ~$2

wal mart home light switch in back of case for light control = $.99

using pliers, sweat, and tears to put a hole in the back of said case for said light switch = a different kind of cost

using a red truck tail light for case lighting = $2.99

knowing Lokie long enough to inherit his old junk......

priceless....
