Default Covering ugly cut edges?

Anybody got suggestions on how cover ugly edges around a case cut? I thought about the U-channel molding that I've seen. Some one said something about using coxial cables? Maybe some electrical tape ...HHMMmm. Ideas?

The general idea of modding is to make your mod look as manufactured as possible...i.e it was made that way from the begining. My idea of modding anyways. On that note, electrical tape in any application is ugly as hell. Coaxial does alright, but can still crinkle on you. Use the u trim molding, it looks great and bends well. You can get it at any automotive store, just ask for edge molding for trucks. Welcome to PR.

Most people use U-tubing. If you want to be professional, you could file the edges down as much as possible and repaint the case.

Well, the u-channel adds some class and cleanliness to some edges. I've never heard anything about using coaxial, but with some of the things people do, it wouldn't surprise me. (in a good way)

Your best bet is to use some tools to clean up the edges. If it's a square or a circle, cut a new one slightly larger than the one you made. Get a fresh start. If it's something a little more complex, just file out the burrs and whatnot, and as long as it's not a large little indention, it should be alright.

At the auto place they only had door trim/door edge molding, is this the thing to use?

Just compare the pictures there to what you find at your automotive store.
