Default First metal case cutting experience ...

To say the least, my first time cutting my case was interesting. I took out the two stamped fan grills on my case. The result wasn't that bad actually. No cuts/accidents ... but there are a few ugly scratches on the back panel along with a few imprints from the clamps. The holes are, how to say it, aren't not that smooth? I don't own a dremel and I filed down the worst points already with a file already there are still parts sticking out so I'm not sure what to do with them since I used a hole saw.

I'm kinda stuck right now on how to take out the front 120mm panel. I originally thought I could use a jigsaw but I can't really clamp my case down to anything so that option's a bust. Tried using a hammer and nails, no hope there either. Even tried using some teeth on my hole saw ... damn ... so much torque ... definitely my worst idea today. Anyone got any cheap/easy ways to take out a 120mm fan grill? Theres like four small points and four longer points that attach the grill to front panel.

Wow, so that's what burning metal smells like
DIE STAMPED FAN GRILLS!!!! DIE!!!!

PS: Anyone got any modding ideas that don't involve buing a lot of tools? I think I'll need to build up more confidence before cutting my case again. It was kind of a traumatic experience today ... i mean .... kinda

The only tool you'll need for basic modding is a Dremel or similar rotary.

Here's a little trick of the trade:
When cutting 120mm holes, you can use a CD as a model. The CD is the perfect size for a 120mm blowhole, etc.
